------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Is it easy to learn the PhotoReading Whole Mind System?
Yes, anyone willing to learn it can do it. It is a natural ability that requires practice and perserverance. The innovative techniques are straightforward and easy to put into practise. We got results within the first few hours of starting to PhotoRead, this encouraged us to learn more and get the most out of the course.

2. How does the PhotoReading Whole Mind System really work?
With PhotoReading step itself, using your peripheral vision, you will mentally photograph the written page with the subconscious mind, which puts it directly into your long-term memory. During a period of incubation the information you have PhotoRead combines with your prior knowledge and experience forming links with your conscious mind, which you can then activate, using a variety of techniques. For example, Mind Mapping is an effective method of activating information and a way of note taking developed by Tony Buzan that best uses the expanded capabilities of the human mind.

3. Is PhotoReading step itself different from speed-reading?
Yes, because your eyes do not move down the page - you mentally photograph two pages at once without moving your eyes.
4. Will I still be able to read books for enjoyment at my current reading speed?
Yes, definitely. We tend to read novels at usual speed and non-fiction using our PhotoReading skills. We've even PhotoRead novels first before reading them at usual speed. We've noticed that books take on an extra 3D-dimension meaning and we enjoyed them more. We always PhotoRead everything first.

5. What is the upper speed limit for PhotoReading step itself?
Paul Scheele, principal developer of PhotoReading, has PhotoRead books at 68 000 words a minute with 74% comprehension. You may have seen Paul McKenna's late night documentary on hypnosis in April 1995. The programme showed McKenna PhotoReading a novel that scrolled across a Cray's computer screen at over 200 000 words a minute - and he scored over 70% in a subsequent comprehension test.

7. Can PhotoReading help to learn languages faster than before?
Many PhotoReaders have reported learning another language is much easier with PhotoReading. They use strategies such as repeatedly PhotoReading dictionaries, grammar books and every book they can find in that language every day or as often as they are able to.

8. I have poor eyesight, can I still learn PhotoReading?
Because the PhotoReading process relies on the peripheral vision, and not the hard focus of foveal vision, many people with severely diminished eyesight have enjoyed the success of PhotoReading. With this in mind, some PhotoReaders found it is not necessary to wear glasses while PhotoReading although glasses may be necessary for other steps of the PhotoReading Whole Mind System. People with sight in only one eye or with a lazy eye may enjoy success even though they cannot see the 'blip page' as described in the PhotoFocus process. An alternative way to PhotoFocus is described in the PhotoReading Whole Mind System.

9. I heard that one could lift sports perfomance and increases once creative ability with PhotoReading. Is it true?
Yes, this is called Direct Learning. You need to just PhotoRead several books on a subject a day without activating and notice spontaneous activation and improvement in your performance. Many golfers or tennis players who are PhotoReaders discovered their game improved significantly after use of this technique. Several musicians have reported uses of PhotoReading music. They find that PhotoReading musical scores a day before first playing the music makes the first run through much easier - as if they have already practised the piece.

10. Can children learn The PhotoReading Whole Mind System?
The seminar and the self-study course are designed for all ages from 10-12 years old. Younger children can easily learn from their parents.

11. Can The PhotoReading Whole Mind System help you to pass exams?
Absolutely! The PhotoReading Whole Mind System is an invaluable skill for exam preparation. Firstly, it is used to give you an overview of the whole subject, which helps you to understand and learn it. Secondly, after Previewing, PhotoReading and Activation in a very short space of time you have gone over the material at least 3 times which strengthens the memory pathways in the cortex of your brain. Thirdly, PhotoReading gives you the confidence, security and reassurance that all necessary information is in your mind. Finally, PhotoReading allows you to trust your intuition to guide you throughout the whole exam. With PhotoReading you gain the attitudes, skills and knowledge that are essential to pass exams. And because you'll learn how to relax and be in control of your mind exams become something to look forward to and have fun. Imagine that!

12. What are other benefits of practising the PhotoReading Whole Mind System?
During the course you will enhance your natural strengths as a learner. You will feel more comfortable with learning, have more confidence in your abilities and have higher self-esteem. You will have more choice in terms of processing information. You'll enrich your capacity to absorb and gain more meaning from reading. The transformative power of the PhotoReading Whole Mind System can be crossed over to any areas of life. You will have more time to do the things that matter to you. Time is money, time is precious. That's why super-achievers use the PhotoReading Whole Mind System as part of their time management. All that and more in just 2 and a half days. This is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and your family.

13. Will I be able to use the PhotoReading Whole Mind System after the two and a half day seminar?
During the seminar you will learn all you need to know about how to use the PhotoReading Whole Mind System. However, for it to become second nature so that you can use it with complete ease will take time. Depending on your existing skills, motivation, needs, expectations and self-image it may take 21-60 days of using the system to fully appreciate all the benefits. Please keep in mind that after the course you'll need to use the system at least 5-20 minutes a day (or 3 hours over the weekend) for a month or two.

14. Will PhotoReading give me a photographic memory?
PhotoReading does not give you a photographic memory nor instant recall of everything. (It is possible to develop it though and that takes time and effort and depends on your motivation, needs, expectation and self-image.) It simply makes printed material faster to process and easier to use.

15. Can the PhotoReading Whole Mind System help with dyslexia or be used by dyslexics?
Yes. We have found that it helps dyslexics overcome their difficulties to process written information. Part of the system uses a technique developed by John Duns Scotus and popularised by Ron Davis author of 'The Gift of Dyslexia'.

16. Can the PhotoReading Whole Mind System be used for technical material, manuals, etc?
Yes. It is excellent for making sense of this type of material. The step of Rapid Reading enables you to get the detail you require and mind mapping allows you to memorise the information.

17. How long does it take to learn how to PhotoRead?
That's up to you. the tapes will start teaching you the process of PhotoReading immediately. However, the rapidity of you seeing measurable results depends on how much time you have available to go through the tapes and how much you apply what you are learning.
Most people take between 2 and 6 weeks to complete the course first time through. However there is no rush and the technique does come much easier if you do not put yourself under pressure to perform.
Also like all things the more you become acquainted with the technique, you will become more proficient - it gets easier and faster the more you do it.

18. Do I have to change my beliefs or believe something new?
the interesting thing about beliefs is summed up by a quote from Henry Ford - "Whether you believe you can or believe you can not you are probably right!"
Before learning how to PhotoRead, most people read one word or syllable at a time, sub-vocalising as they go. This is exactly how most of us were taught to read back in primary school. It was a great way to learn but does not serve us best for high performance.
However, because this is a successful way to read, we can get trapped into believing it is the only, or right way, to do it. In order to do something different though it is often better to put the old things aside for a while. This enables you to better experiment with learning the new subject or technique - you can always go back to the old way afterwards if you choose.
If you want extra support with letting go of limiting beliefs please contact us about Paul Scheele's Belief tape.

19. What if I don't get a great result from the dictionary game?
Go on with the course. Later you will have an opportunity to come back to the dictionary game. Most people get it right away, but success with the dictionary game is not necessary for success with the PhotoReading whole mind system. I actually only scored 1 out of 9 the first time I did the course, it was only that my wife scored 9 out of 10 that persuaded me to carry on. I am glad I did because when I did the course again I managed 4 out of 5 correct!

20. How soon should I be able to PhotoRead at amazing speeds?
Let's say you would normally need to spend 10 hours to "regular read" one of your books now. A beginning PhotoReader can take the same book, spend 3 hours, and achieve better comprehension with long-term memory. In those 3 hours, they will have 3 to 6 passes through the book cover-to-cover in 30-minute Activation sessions, building layers of comprehension and understanding. And, with use, it drops from 3 hours to 2 hours, and so forth.

21. What should I do if I find myself getting caught back up into old patterns of reading?
Chances are this will happen. PhotoReading is not brainwashing. It gives you more choices to do the same task, pretty much like having transport. If you have plenty of time and want to take your time to get to a destination and enjoy the view along the way you can walk. If you want to accelerate your progress you can choose to take a form of transport. It is great to stroll when you can, however in today's fast paced world, it is a necessity to have the faster option when you need it.

22. What does it feel like to activate information?
This is an interesting question and the answer is probably as individual as the person experiencing the activation.
For me I can only explain it as having a hunch about something and trusting it enough to voice it. As I do I find further thoughts begin to flow and before I know it, a stream of information begins to pour forth. Other people have said that once they started they felt they couldn't write fast enough to keep up with the flow.
Be sensitive to intuitive thoughts and hunches as this can be how the other than conscious mind communicates with the conscious mind.

23. What if I have problems with activating what I have PhotoRead?
Nearly every PhotoReader has the experience of PhotoReading and then knowing specific information from the text. This is called spontaneous activation. It is typically not something you can plan for and not something most people can do on demand. That is why activation techniques were developed and woven into the PhotoReading whole mind system.
I have found the following methods most useful for me; firstly I do the super reading and dipping then I "Mind Map" (explained in detail in the course) chapters and books plus I discuss what I have PhotoRead with someone else.
Try to get hold of a book that they have read, PhotoRead it yourself and talk about the book. If you feel you cannot remember anything, let them start talking about it, you will find that information will start to activate within the discussion.
Also make sure you take full advantage of the Memory Supercharger Tape, it really is a powerful tape and I advise that you use it every night whilst you are learning the course.

25. Any other advice?
o Don't study for more than 45 minutes without a minimum of a five minute break at the end of each study period. A relaxation break also allows the information to be moved from your short-term memory to long-term memory storage.
o Affirm to yourself, "the information I have PhotoRead has been absorbed and assimilated by my mind. I can recall it any time in the future with ease. I can create my own unique point of view as the information weaves together in my mind to produce my very own creation."
o Explain out loud what you've learned to an imaginary or real expert in your mind.
o Explain it to a youngster and listen to his innocent questions about what he hears. See if you can reply to him. You may hear a question you which you don't know the full answer. Now you can go back to the material to find it.
o Use your other senses: what did the information smell like: fresh or musty? What did it feel like: rough or smooth? Warm or cold?
